Plumber
The Plumber is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all plumbing systems as assigned. High School Graduate or GED required. Journeyman's license required; may be substituted for irrigation license and or five years plumbing experience. Master license preferred. Able to read blueprints and schematics. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable.
Maintain all plumbing systems in good working condition. Performs services needed for plumbing such as repairing water leaks, repairing or replacing pipes, equipment, or fixtures. Makes minor installations as directed by supervisor. Maintains heating equipment in compliance with all Federal-State Commission and Insurance requirements. Performs irrigation duties as assigned by supervisor. Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Frequent district travel, strenuous bending, climbing, and walking, working in extreme weather conditions, working on slippery uneven surfaces, and exposure to toxic fumes and chemicals.
