Gov First is seeking reliable and safety-focused CDL Class B Drivers to support on‑call transportation and operational needs in Edinburg, VA. This role is ideal for professional drivers who are flexible, dependable, and available to respond to short‑notice assignments.

• Operate CDL Class B vehicles safely and in compliance with all DOT, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform on‑call driving assignments for transportation, delivery, and operational support services.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure a safe operating condition.
• Transport equipment, materials, or personnel as assigned.
• Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and required documentation.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and instructions from dispatch or project management.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic laws at all times.
• Respond to short‑notice or emergency driving assignments as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or project management.

• Valid CDL Class B license.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a DMV motor vehicle records check.
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Strong reliability and willingness to work on‑call and flexible schedules.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Professional and safety‑conscious driving behavior.
• Prior commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience with on‑call, dispatch, or logistics operations is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
