Salary Range: $15.54 To $16.54 Hourly

Experience in the operation of motor vehicles on a commercial basis. Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent is generally preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another. Knowledge of: motor vehicle operations, of passenger loading and unloading methods, of traffic rules and regulations, of Federal and State Department of Transportation regulations, and of maintenance of motor vehicles.

Skill n operating motor vehicles. Ability to obey traffic laws, to follow practices in loading and unloading passengers, to prepare accurate records, to communicate effectively, and to train others. The ability to communicate Bilingual, English and Spanish.

• Requires driver trainings/certifications from training and/or transportation agencies.
• Requires a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Requires a valid Texas Commercial driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement.
• This position is classified as a safety sensitive position in accordance with FTA’s 49 CFR Part 40.
