Transportation Specialist

The Transportation Specialist is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of new and used vehicles between dealerships, auctions, vendors, and other designated locations. This role supports dealership operations by ensuring vehicles are delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule while representing the Hacienda brand with professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Transport vehicles to and from dealerships, auctions, vendors, customer locations, and other designated destinations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document any damage.
Verify VINs, stock numbers, and required paperwork before transport.
Communicate delivery status, delays, or issues with management.
Operate all vehicles safely and comply with company policies and applicable laws.
Report accidents, violations, mechanical issues, or damage immediately.
Assist with fueling, parking, organizing, and relocating inventory.
Support additional transportation and logistics needs as assigned.
Walk dealership lots and enter/exit vehicles frequently.
Sit and drive for extended periods.
Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate a variety of passenger vehicles, SUVs, and trucks; manual transmission experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently.
Safe driving practices.
Basic vehicle inspection procedures.
GPS and smartphone navigation.

Requirements

You are at least 21 years old.
You have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

You understand that the 401K company match has an annual maximum amount.
