King Air Captain — Single-Pilot SIT Missions; Edinburg, TX

About the mission

Join a purpose-driven flight operation where precision matters. As the Captain, you’ll plan and execute solo King Air missions aligned to strict criteria, ensuring each sortie is flown accurately and safely in support of SIT program objectives.

• Operate the King Air 90 as a single-pilot Captain in a consistently safe, professional manner.
• Maintain thorough awareness of destinations and alternates; assess actual/forecast weather, fuel and oil needs, navigation and radio aids, and applicable NOTAMs.
• Complete meticulous pre- and post-flight inspections for every mission.
• Fly precisely to mission parameters and guidance, including use of the electronic guidance system.
• Coordinate effectively with the base manager, customer stakeholders, and the system operations center.
• Submit accurate digital reports (daily/weekly/monthly), including maintenance records and timesheets, on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of safe and efficient operations.

• FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings.
• FAA Second-Class Medical.
• Minimum flight experience:
  • 1,200 hours total time.
  • 250 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • 50 hours night.
  • 50 hours instrument, including 5 hours in actual instrument conditions.
  • 100 hours of the stated flight time within the past 12 months.
  • 100 hours multi-engine PIC if multi-engine aircraft are used.
• Proficiency operating an electronic guidance system.
• Willingness to relocate to Texas.
• Strong team orientation and professional communication skills.

• 25 hours PIC in the Beechcraft King Air, with at least 10 hours in the past 12 months.
• Spanish fluency; prior cross-cultural and foreign-language experience.
