We’re looking for a Team Leader to help create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
What you’ll do:- Lead and support a team of residential care workers
- Assist with the day‑to‑day running of the home
- Ensure children’s emotional, physical and developmental needs are met
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans
- Promote a positive, reflective team culture
- Experience in residential childcare
- NVQ Level 3 in children and young people or equivalent (Level 5 desirable)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Ivytree House specialises in supporting children and young people who have Social Emotional Behavioural difficulties, Mental Health difficulties and additional needs/difficulties including Attachment disorders, Trauma, Mild to Moderate Autism, ADHD, ODD, Conduct disorder, eating Disorders, Anxiety disorders, sleep disorders, mood disorders, gender identity disorder, adjustment disorder, self‑harm, ligature amongst other difficulties. We support our children to access appropriate education provision, be this mainstream or otherwise up until the completion of their GCSE years and beyond in to further education, apprenticeships, training, or employment.
Ivytree House is part of Rock hopper Children's Services. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
