This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nursery Manager located in Edinburgh. The Nursery Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of care and education in line with regulatory guidelines and CC Nurseries’ values. Responsibilities include managing nursery staff, fostering a collaborative environment with parents, maintaining safeguarding standards, and creating an engaging learning environment. The role also involves driving the nursery's curriculum plans, managing budgets, and setting quality targets to meet the individual needs of children.
Qualifications- Strong expertise in Nursery Management and experience in overseeing early childhood settings
- Proficiency in Safeguarding and ensuring the welfare and protection of children
- Exceptional Communication skills for engaging with parents, staff, and children
- Relevant leadership skills with a focus on team management and development
- A recognized qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent is required
- Thorough knowledge of childcare standards and regulations in Scotland
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting children’s development and creating a positive learning environment
38 hours per week
Salary up to £50k
