Education Assets is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a new and growing nursery in Blackburn, Rotherham (S61) for an experienced and passionate Baby Room Leader.
Due to increasing occupancy, the nursery is looking for an enthusiastic leader who is committed to providing exceptional care and education for babies during the most important stage of their development.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing nursery, lead a dedicated baby room team, and help shape an outstanding environment where children can thrive.
Your RoleAs the Baby Room Leader, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the Baby Room
- Support, motivate, and mentor your team of practitioners
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for babies
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Complete observations, assessments, and learning journeys
- Ensure individual care routines, including feeding, sleeping, and personal care, are delivered to a high standard
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working within a Baby Room
- Experience leading a room or supporting and mentoring a team
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and child development
- A caring, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
- £13.80 per hour
- 40 hours per week
- One weekday off each week
