Nursery Practitioner

Fairy Bridge Nursery is a family run full day nursery that provides exceptional care and education for early years children. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where young learners can thrive and develop essential skills through play.

We are seeking a playful, enthusiastic and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering the development and learning of our young children, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and education. We follow an ‘in the moment’ planning approach where we follow children’s interests and further their learning in the moment.

• Interact, challenge and engage children in playful experiences that promote children's development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
• Support children's social and emotional development through positive interactions.
• Engage in outdoor learning experiences in a free flow environment come rain or shine.
• Encourage creativity, curiosity, and independence in young learners whilst having fun!!

• A relevant qualification in early years education (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Childcare).
• Experience working in a nursery or educational setting is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to effectively plan and manage daily routines.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.

• We are ideally looking for someone who is able to work 4-5 days per week (possible working hours of 8am-5pm would be ideal)
• Our hourly rate is currently £13.50 per hour for level 3 qualified.
• We close the nursery for 2 weeks during the Christmas holidays.
