The Workplace Concierge is a confident and highly visible ambassador for the workplace, delivering outstanding customer service and creating positive, seamless and memorable experiences for colleagues, clients and visitors.

What You’ll Be Known For: 1. Creating Exceptional Experiences
  • Delivering an engaging, confident and genuinely warm welcome to every visitor and colleague.
  • Operating with a proactive “How can I help?” mindset that turns everyday moments into standout experiences.
  • Anticipating needs before they arise and responding with pace, precision and care.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior clients, executives and VIP guests.
  • Owning the lobby space, setting the standard for presentation, energy and professionalism.
  • Managing visitor flow with confidence, ensuring smooth, seamless arrivals and departures.
  • Curating tailored recommendations for dining, travel, hotels and local experiences.
  • Coordinating taxis, chauffeur services, bookings and reservations with meticulous attention to detail.

2. Elevating Meetings & Events
  • Delivering flawlessly prepared meeting and executive spaces that reflect premium standards.
  • Ensuring every detail — AV, lighting, refreshments, room layout; is executed to perfection.
  • Supporting high-profile meetings and events with confidence and discretion.
  • Acting as first-line support for AV and IT, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
  • Resetting spaces efficiently so they are always presentation-ready.

3. Driving Operational Excellence
  • Managing visitor registration, access control and compliance with absolute accuracy.
  • Conducting proactive floor walks to identify opportunities to enhance the workplace environment.
  • Logging, tracking and resolving service requests to ensure no detail is overlooked.
  • Coordinating contractors and suppliers smoothly, protecting the client experience at all times.
  • Maintaining stock, signage and shared spaces to consistently high standards.
  • Supporting mailroom services and workplace logistics with efficiency and ownership.

4. Championing Service Innovation
  • Driving service excellence in line with SLAs, KPIs and SOPs — and confidently challenging when standards slip.
  • Identifying smarter, more impactful ways to enhance service delivery.
  • Contributing ideas that improve the contract, elevate the client experience and strengthen partnerships.
  • Collaborating across service lines as One Mitie, ensuring seamless delivery.

5. Protecting Safety & Trust
  • Maintaining a secure, compliant and professional environment at all times.
  • Supporting emergency procedures and acting decisively when needed.
  • Reporting risks, incidents and near misses promptly and responsibly.

  • Proven experience in Customer service either hospitality, concierge or corporate reception.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask with composure.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Strong digital confidence across Outlook, Teams, Word and workplace systems (Maximo, Condeco, Eptura or similar).
  • The ability to stay calm, agile and positive in a fast-paced environment.
