Hospitality Supervisor

Sodexo and Edinburgh Academy are looking for a Front of House & Hospitality Supervisor to lead the front‑of‑house team in a prestigious secondary school setting.

Location: Edinburgh Academy, Edinburgh

Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday (with occasional special events and prior notice for time off)

Salary: £14.30 per hour

Contract: 52 weeks or term‑time (40 weeks) options available (open to discussion at interview)

We’re looking for a confident and energetic supervisor to lead our front‑of‑house team, ensuring a high‑quality service experience for pupils, staff and visitors across daily dining and special events.

• Leading and motivating a front‑of‑house team to deliver smooth, professional service
• Overseeing day‑to‑day dining operations (breakfast, lunch and hospitality)
• Supporting and delivering events with occasional flexibility required
• Acting as Allergens Champion, ensuring safety and clear communication
• Creating a welcoming, high‑standard dining environment
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of team members
• Working closely with kitchen and site leadership teams

• Experience in hospitality or catering, ideally in a supervisory or team‑leader role
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm in busy environments
• Natural leader who enjoys developing and supporting others
