Location: City of Edinburgh

Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited Collection is looking for a charming and engaging individual with a passion for service excellence to join our team as a Food and Beverage Supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in building a team through effective leadership and setting the right example
  • Work with the Food and Beverage Manager to take responsibility for training and development of employees, departmental induction, monthly department meetings, planning, assigning and delegating work
  • Be highly courteous and give our guests memorable service and a lasting impression
  • Provide exceptional service by demonstrating full knowledge of our products and facilities
  • Ensure that the daily task list is completed effectively
  • Work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver captivating experiences
  • Take initiative in accommodating our guest's needs in a resourceful manner
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager to train and coach in a systematic and professional way to consistently achieve service standards and product delivery
  • Deal with guest complaints by following the correct procedures
  • Positively promote sales awareness within the department and maximize sales opportunities
Qualifications
  • Excellent guest engagement skills
  • Previous Hospitality experience
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience handling customer requests and complaints
  • Well organised, outgoing and service minded
  • The ability to communicate and organise yourself in line with different guest expectations
  • A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous
