THE ROLE
Reporting to the Room Service Manager, the In-Room Dining Supervisor at W Edinburgh will have overall responsibility for daily operations of the Room Service team, ensuring guests receive a flawless service.
Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel. We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and passionate!
As an In-Room Dining Supervisor, key aspects of your role will include:
Create a positive working environment, while providing support and guidance to the room service team
Ensure high levels of service are being achieved
Answer any questions on the menu selection, including how food has been prepared, any modifications that can be made, and what allergens are present
Communicate with the kitchen regarding questions, length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silverware before serving it to guests
Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payments on service
Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to report accidents and injuries
