In the summer months, our space expands to include our rooftop bar, W Deck, where guests can enjoy the same great service and atmosphere of W Lounge whilst soaking up the summer sun and taking in our 360-degree view of Edinburgh and beyond.

Reporting to the W Lounge Manager, the W Lounge Bartender will play a key role in the daily operation of the bar, preparing and serving drinks for guests. You will be part of a team that works together to provide exceptional service to our guests.

We are looking for someone who is creative, motivated and passionate about what they do!

As W Lounge Bartender, key aspects of your role will include:

• Deliver the highest level of personalized service to our guests
• Prepare drink orders for guests, including bespoke W Edinburgh cocktails
• Issue, open and serve wine and champagne
• Assist the W Lounge floor team during peak periods when required
• Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of the bar and tables
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
• Stock ice, glassware and paper supplies
• Transport supplies to bar set-up areas
• Wash glassware
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
• Process all payment methods
• Secure liquors, beers, wine, coolers, cabinets and storage areas
• Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and licensing.
• Maintain food hygiene and sanitation standards.

• Previous experience working in high-end, high-volume restaurants and/or bars
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to create memorable experiences for guests
