The Caledonian Edinburgh are recruiting for a Casual Night Porter:

Description

At The Caledonian Edinburgh, luxury service continues around the clock. We are seeking a Casual Night Porter to support the overnight operation of the hotel, ensuring guests experience seamless, attentive service while maintaining accuracy, security and operational excellence throughout the night.

The Person :

Calm, professional and confident working independently overnight
Guest-focused with excellent communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Trustworthy, reliable and comfortable taking ownership
Flexible to work night shifts and support hotel operations.

The Role:

Deliver refined overnight guest service at the Front Desk
Act as the lead point of contact for guests during night hours
Maintain hotel security and safety standards overnight
Support a smooth handover for the morning Front of House Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage guest requests promptly and professionally
Respond professionally to guest requests and resolve issues
Monitor security, access and safety compliance
Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance & Front of House teams.
