Gas Engineer – Maintenance
Location:
Edinburgh & surrounding areas
• Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 DOE + overtime
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The RoleYou will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive gas maintenance across domestic and light commercial properties. This is a field‑based role suited to a motivated engineer who works to a high standard and takes pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities- Servicing and maintaining gas boilers and heating systems
- Fault‑finding and breakdown repairs
- Completing gas safety inspections and certification
- Working in occupied domestic properties
- Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe regulations
- Completing job reports and paperwork accurately
- Delivering a professional, customer‑focused service
- ✅ Gas Safe registered (essential)
- ✅ Relevant ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, etc.)
- ✅ Proven experience in domestic gas maintenance
- ✅ Full UK driving licence
- ✅ Strong fault‑finding ability
- ✅ Good communication and time management skills
- ✅ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with landlord and property management work
- Unvented hot water qualification
- LPG experience
