At Pat Kirk Ltd we are currently seeking to recruit AN EXPERIENCED VEHICLE TECHNICIAN to join our successful team.

Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician at Pat Kirk Ltd, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, service, and repair a diverse range of vehicles.

You will also take part in vehicle road testing and ensure that our customers receive top-quality service from start to finish, contributing to our reputation for excellence.

This role gives you the chance to work on a variety of manufacturers and models, keeping your skills sharp and allowing you to stay ahead of the curve with the latest automotive technologies.

• Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards
• Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment
• Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects
• Road testing vehicles to check repairs
• Maintaining equipment and making sure it is in good condition
• Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed
• Completing all documentation to the required standard
• Offer technical advice and support to workshop apprentices when requested
• Provide a knowledgeable, courteous, responsive, and efficient service to all workshop customers through EVHC videos

Essential skills

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Light Vehicle Repairs or equivalent
• Valid Driving License
• The ability to work in an efficient manner on your own or part of a team
• The ability to carry out work to high standards to deadlines
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach
• The ability to accurately follow written and spoken instructions
