My client are a leading provider of mobile vehicle maintenance and repair services, specialising in heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). With a mission to provide an exceptional service that the dealers cannot provide.

As a Mobile HGV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HGVs on-site at customer locations across Luton, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire you will work independently to ensure vehicles are kept in top working condition, minimizing downtime and maximizing safety and performance.

• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on HGVs to ensure they meet safety standards and legal requirements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on HGVs.
• Perform emergency breakdown repairs at customer sites and roadside on a 24 hour call out rota.
• Carry out routine servicing, MOT preparations, and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used, labour time, and service details.
• Ensure that company vehicles and equipment are kept in good working condition.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent HGV Technician qualification
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working with HGVs
• Strong diagnostic skills and a practical understanding of HGVs and associated systems.
• Full, clean UK driving license (HGV license would be a plus but not essential)
