Salary: 13.45/hour

- Undertake and manage general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, heating, carpentry and decorating
- Conduct routine inspections of building structures, equipment and assets, performing reactive and preventive maintenance with minimal disruption to guests and visitors
- Install, inspect and troubleshoot equipment, appliances and systems, including heating and air conditioning distribution systems
- Coordinate and oversee contractors and external providers, ensuring compliance with service agreements and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and daily logs of all repairs and maintenance activities
- Actively contribute to the safety of people and property, including maintaining clear emergency exits
- Undertake appropriate training to develop expertise and identify areas for operational improvement
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related trade (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC systems)
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and building compliance standards
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment
- Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliability, responsibility, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance
