At British Gas, we are making the UK greener and more energy efficient, getting closer to Net Zero. We use clever tech such as thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels and EV chargers, making it cheaper and easier for our customers to reduce their carbon footprint.

We need White Goods engineers to join our team of experienced engineers and ensure that our customers get the help they need, when they need it. You will play a pivotal part in our Service Promise of same‑day fixes for our customers.

Base Salary is £40,133 with uncapped OTE – a realistic expectation of £47,000 through our field reward scheme. You will attend customers’ homes to repair and maintain an array of white goods and appliances. You will have support from managers, mentors and fellow engineers, but some jobs can be challenging and you will need a minimum of two years on‑the‑job experience to tackle most tasks.

• Extensive, evidenced experience in the repair and/or maintenance of a wide range of white goods including dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, tumble dryers, and microwaves.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to solve problems to diagnose defects and work safely to ensure a first‑time fix for customers.
