Lift Installation Engineer – Edinburgh

We are looking for an installation mechanic to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely installing a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

• Install new elevators to market‑leading standards, quality and efficiencies.
• Work in a safe manner in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
• Travel to various customer sites and stay overnight when required.
• Work with and support the customer while on site.
• Conduct inspection before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards.

• Qualified mechanic with knowledge of elevator equipment and ability to apply elevator engineering principles to installation.
• Qualified to install elevators to the standards set in your country.
• Holder of a driver’s licence with access to your own vehicle.
• At least 6 months of experience in the field of elevators, ideally acquired in assembly activity or on‑site installation.
• Good electrical and mechanical skills.
• Comfortable with plan reading and calculations.
• Aptitude for technical products and new technologies.
• Appreciation for manual trades and the satisfaction of seeing the finished work.
