Role Overview

The post holder will deliver repairs and maintenance across multiple trade disciplines, primarily in painting, decorating and general maintenance. The role requires a positive attitude towards customers, health and safety, and maintaining compliance with policy and guiding standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete basic painting, decorating and minor repairs, reporting any issues outside your skill set to ensure timely solutions.
  • Deliver a responsive and effective repairs service across estates, in line with agreed health and safety standards.
  • Attend to small plaster work repairs, taping and minor joinery tasks.
  • Prepare estimates on occasion.
  • Work in empty homes and assist the team in returning the home to a livable standard.
Qualifications
  • Experienced painter and decorator.
  • Have a PASMA and LLOLER qualification, or be working towards and willing to obtain them.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer focus with empathy, especially with older or vulnerable customers.
  • Self‑motivated and able to motivate yourself and others.
  • Competent in planning, measuring and recording work activities using digital devices.
  • Able to identify and report health and safety issues and take immediate action to mitigate risks.
  • Full driving licence and ability to travel between sites.
