Fabric Engineer

Static Fabric Engineer – BTC Birmingham
Salary: £31,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer to join our facilities team at the BTC in Birmingham. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of the building.

As our Fabric Engineer, you will work across all areas of the site, covering tasks such as minor plumbing, carpentry, door repairs, tiling, painting, and general building maintenance. You will also support other trades where needed, ensuring works are completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar Fabric Engineer role within a commercial environment, a good understanding of maintenance processes, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.

Key Requirements:
