We're recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join an established on-site engineering team in Edinburgh. - Static site – no mobile travel
- 40-hour working week on a rotating shift pattern

Working as part of a dedicated engineering team, you ll be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a prestigious commercial development, ensuring all electrical systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems
- Diagnosing faults and completing reactive electrical repairs
- Testing and maintaining emergency lighting systems
- Inspecting and maintaining distribution boards
- Completing routine plant room and switch room inspections
- Carrying out weekly sprinkler system testing
- Supporting specialist subcontractors where required
- Updating maintenance records using a CAFM system
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
- Delivering a professional and customer-focused maintenance service
To be successful in this role, you ll have:
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience working within Facilities Management, Building Services or Commercial Maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Inspection & Testing (2391)
- Experience working within large commercial, retail or mixed-use environments
- Knowledge of SFG
20 maintenance standards
