LABOURER NEEDED ASAP IN EDINBURGH

Must have CSCS, PPE and relevant experience with references.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in a variety of outdoor and indoor tasks, supporting construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to the upkeep and enhancement of diverse sites. Candidates should be physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new techniques and tools.

This paid position is suitable for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in horticulture, gardening, and general maintenance work.

• Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, mowing, and general garden care
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently
• Support construction activities such as digging, lifting, and material handling
• Use excavators and irrigation systems for site development and upkeep
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and tools to ensure optimal operation
• Clear debris, organise materials, and prepare sites for ongoing projects
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times during work activities
• Support team members with various tasks as required to ensure project deadlines are met

• Experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance or gardening is advantageous
• Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and manoeuvring heavy materials
• Good organisational skills with an eye for detail in maintaining work areas
• Ability to follow instructions carefully while working independently or as part of a team
• Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality as core attributes
• Willingness to learn new skills related to horticulture, construction, or maintenance tasks
