Commissioning Engineer (CO₂ Refrigeration)

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Commissioning Engineer (CO₂ Refrigeration) to be based in the United Kingdom.

This role will involve the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of CO₂ refrigeration systems at customer sites across the UK. Working as part of a specialist engineering team, you will ensure equipment is installed and commissioned to the highest standards while providing excellent technical support to customers.

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Commissioning CO₂ refrigeration systems at customer sites.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults.
• Supporting installation and system start-up activities.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry regulations.
• Providing technical advice and support to customers and colleagues.
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Proven experience as a Service Technician, Commissioning Engineer, or Refrigeration Engineer.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of CO₂ (R744) refrigeration systems
  .
• Relevant refrigeration qualifications (such as City & Guilds, NVQ, F-Gas, or equivalent).
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
