Aspire are looking for an experienced, high-quality Joiner to join their growing team.
You will work predominantly on kitchen, bathroom
and
domestic renovation projects
across
Edinburgh
and
the surrounding areas
.

You should have a keen eye for detail, take genuine pride in your workmanship and have strong experience working within kitchens and bathrooms.

You'll be joining an experienced team of tradespeople and working alongside other skilled professionals to deliver complete projects to a consistently high standard.
The RoleAs an Aspire Joiner, you will primarily work on domestic kitchen and bathroom renovations
, as well as wider renovation and joinery projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Kitchen fitting and installation
- Bathroom renovation and preparation
- Stud wall construction
- Plasterboard installation
- Ceiling alterations
- Door and frame installation
- Skirting boards and architraves
- Flooring and plywood floor installation
- Shower tray and enclosure installation
- General first and second-fix joinery
- Bespoke joinery and modifications
- Silicone and sealant finishing
- General renovation and light building work
- Working alongside other trades
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment

We're looking for someone who understands that a good Joiner doesn't just make something fit — they make it look right.
You should have excellent attention to detail and consistently deliver:
- Accurate measurements
- Clean and precise cuts
- Straight lines and consistent reveals
- Accurate levels and alignment
- High-quality finishing
- Professional silicone and sealant work
- Careful finishing around kitchens, bathrooms and expensive fixtures
- A clean and tidy work area
Most importantly, you should be someone who looks at a completed job and thinks: “I'm proud of that.”
You must have:
- Proven experience as a Joiner
- Strong domestic joinery experience
- Significant kitchen and bathroom experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- High standards of workmanship
- Good problem-solving skills
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Ability to organise and manage your own workload
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
A CSCS card is not required
, as the majority of our work is carried out within domestic properties.
Experience in the following would be advantageous:
- High-quality bathroom installations
- Confident use of power tools
- Property renovations
