The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and roadworthy.

Your duties will include:

* Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs

* Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance

* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults

* Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults

* Preparing vehicles for MOT and completing inspections

* Carrying out repairs efficiently and to a high standard

* Completing job cards and service records accurately

* Working safely and effectively within workshop deadlines

About You

We're looking for someone with:

- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, LGV Technician, Truck Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent) – essential
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good mechanical and electrical repair experience
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
