An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Edinburgh (EH12).

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and roadworthy.
Your duties will include:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs
- Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
- Preparing vehicles for MOT and completing inspections
- Carrying out repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Completing job cards and service records accurately
- Working safely and effectively within workshop deadlines
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, LGV Technician, Truck Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent) - essential
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good mechanical and electrical repair experience
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
