FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Maintenance Plumber to join a leading Facilities Management provider, covering a portfolio of commercial sites across Edinburgh and the East of Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served plumber with a strong background in commercial maintenance and Facilities Management who is looking for a long-term position with an established business.
The RoleWorking as part of the mobile engineering team, you will be responsible for planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across a variety of commercial properties.
- Carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
- Fault finding and repairing plumbing systems
- Maintenance and repair of taps, toilets, sinks, showers and sanitary ware
- Working on pipework, valves, pumps and associated systems
- Investigating and repairing leaks
- Completing minor installations and remedial works
- Carrying out PPM tasks across client sites
- Responding to reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs when required
- Completing job sheets and updating maintenance systems
- Liaising with clients and providing a professional service on site
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard
- Time-served / qualified Plumber
- Strong commercial plumbing and maintenance experience
- Previous experience within FM, Building Services or commercial maintenance would be highly advantageous
- Confident working independently across multiple client sites
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Salary up to £40,000 DOE

- 37 hour contract (1pm finish every Friday)
