About the Role

We’re after an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to cover a field-based role in the Scotland. You’ll report to our National Service Manager and be the go-to person for client callouts—handling breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of variety and independence, perfect for someone who knows their stuff and takes pride in doing a job well.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Attending refrigeration breakdowns and carrying out top-notch repairs
• Performing regular maintenance checks across client sites
• Keeping everything safe, compliant, and up to standard
• Taking part in our standby rota (usually 1 week in
  4)
• Supporting the team on two-person jobs when needed
• Keeping up to date with client systems and new tech
• Managing your own workload and planning your day effectively
• Flagging any training or tools you might need to keep improving

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience in refrigeration, especially supermarket systems
• F-Gas certified
• CO2 experience
• CSCS card in hand
• Confident working with hydrocarbons
• Full UK driving licence
• Good knowledge of health & safety practices
• Flexible and happy to work outside the usual hours when needed
• A good communicator and natural problem-solver who gets things done
