Corporate Controller

KLR Executive Search Group is proud to partner with Eastern Metal Building Products, LLC (EMBP) to recruit their next Corporate Controller. Eastern Metal Building Products (EMBP) owns and operates a number of businesses including a multi-site steel framing business, a steel door manufacturer and a specialty sub-floor distributor. EMBP has locations in New Jersey, New Hampshire, Alabama, and Mississippi, serving the Eastern USA market.

• Own the consolidated accounting and close process across multiple legal entities and holding companies, ensuring accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Drive inventory accuracy and real-time inventory recognition across manufacturing and warehouse operations to improve purchasing, planning, customer service, and cash flow.
• Partner directly with plant leadership and spend time on the shop floor to understand production flows, material usage, scrap, and throughput.
• Transition the organization away from underutilized legacy accounting systems toward a more integrated financial and operational backbone.
• Lead a lean but capable accounting organization, including staff accountants, AP, collections, reporting, and inventory accounting.
• Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support investments, capacity expansion, and market entry decisions.

• More than 10 years of accounting experience within manufacturing, wholesale, construction, or related industries, demonstrating steady progression in responsibility.
• Experience modernizing systems, implementing ERP/point solutions, and introducing automation.
• Comfortable working onsite 5 days/week and engaging frequently on the factory floor.
