nClient is seeking a Senior Accountant responsible for leading core accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and supporting the monthly and year‑end close processes. This role owns key areas of the general ledger and performs advanced accounting analysis while reviewing and approving work prepared by accounting staff. The position combines hands‑on general ledger responsibility, cost accounting exposure, and operational accounting oversight, including customer programs, fixed assets, reconciliations, and transactional accounting processes.
The Senior Accountant operates with a high degree of independence and judgment, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies while driving process improvements and supporting management reporting.

- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- ERP system experience (Microsoft D365 preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 5–7+ years accounting experience.
- CPA or CPA‑track qualification.
- Manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred.
- Experience supervising or reviewing staff work preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft D365.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Multi‑tasking and coordinating projects with changing priorities.
- Working knowledge of Windows‑based operating system.
- Ability to communicate and motivate clearly and effectively with internal and external contacts via in‑person meetings, telephone, and written communication.
- People management and ability to make effective business decisions in the best interest of the company.
