  • Prepare, review, and analyze consolidated financial statements for multiple legal entities.
  • Support accounting and financial reporting needs within a wealth management, financial services, or technology‑driven operating environment.
  • Maintain, strengthen, and document internal controls, accounting policies, financial procedures, and approval workflows.
  • Coordinate annual financial statement audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax reporting requirements in partnership with outside tax advisors.
  • Review account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Identify and implement accounting process improvements, workflow automation, system enhancements, and reporting efficiencies.
  • Play a key role in ERP implementation, upgrades, optimization, data integrity, and financial reporting system improvements.
  • Partner with Technology and Operations teams to ensure accounting systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools support business needs, controls, and scalability.
  • Develop and mentor accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with cross‑functional departments to support operational initiatives, business growth, system implementations, and finance transformation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal control expectations.
Requirements
  • Active CPA license preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong technical accounting background with experience overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting, month‑end close, audits, and internal controls.
  • Experience in wealth management, financial services, fintech, SaaS, software, or technology‑enabled businesses strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, accounting system implementations, upgrades, integrations, or process automation.
  • Experience with multi‑entity accounting and consolidated financial statements preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills.
