Retail Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This role will support the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare and post journal entries for the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Perform general ledger account and bank reconciliations.
• Review accounts payable activity and ensure proper GL coding.
• Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger systems or ERP software (Net Suite or similar preferred).
• Knowledge of month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
