Edison, NJ (Hybrid – 3 Days in Office / 2 Days Remote)
Kelly Services is partnering with a well-established global manufacturing company to hire a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning key accounting processes from month-end close through financial reporting.

What You'll Do- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries, financial reports, and account analyses
- Manage fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure tracking
- Support customer rebate and promotional program accounting
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash management activities
- Assist with inventory and cost accounting processes
- Review and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
- Review work prepared by accounting staff and provide guidance when needed
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
- Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Power BI is a plus
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience reviewing or supervising accounting staff is preferred
- Office products or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Hybrid schedule (3 days in the office / 2 days remote)
- Competitive salary of $85,000–$100,000
