- Lead the day‑to‑day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Chargebacks.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting, month‑end close, and financial statements.
- Develop, coach, and lead a high‑performing accounting team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Establish scalable accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation to support organizational growth.
- Prepare the organization for successful audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process improvements, automation, and technology.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure financial operations effectively support the business.
- Build a finance function that is audit‑ready, process‑driven, and positioned to scale with the organization’s continued growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Previous experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting Leader.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Experience leading and developing high‑performing accounting teams.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- CPA designation.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, distribution, manufacturing, or other inventory‑intensive environments.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting.
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, and process automation initiatives.
- Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus.
