Senior Accountant

A growing and financially stable organization in the construction and project-based services sector is seeking a hands-on accounting professional to support financial operations, project performance reporting, and business decision-making. This role works closely with leadership and operations teams to provide actionable financial insights while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.

• Manage month-end and year-end accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Support audits, tax reporting requirements, and financial controls.

• Analyze financial results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop reports and dashboards that help leadership evaluate business performance.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives.
• Partner with management to improve financial visibility across the organization.

• Review project financial data and track profitability throughout the lifecycle of active work.
• Evaluate cost trends and assist with identifying operational efficiencies.
• Assist with administration and documentation of insurance programs and compliance requirements.
• Maintain organized records to support audits, reporting requirements, and regulatory obligations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Experience in construction, project accounting, engineering, or another project-driven environment is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and operations teams.

Base Salary range is 85k-110k
