Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Chargebacks.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting, month-end close, and financial statements.
• Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing accounting team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Establish scalable accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation to support organizational growth.
• Prepare the organization for successful audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process improvements, automation, and technology.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial operations effectively support the business.
• Build a finance function that is audit-ready, process-driven, and positioned to scale with the organization s continued growth.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Previous experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accounting Leader.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing accounting teams.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred

• CPA designation.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, distribution, manufacturing, or other inventory-intensive environments.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting.
• Experience with SAP, Power BI, and process automation initiatives.
• Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus.
