Accounting Manager ​/ Senior Acc.

A growing Medical Laboratory is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with strong hands‑on accounting expertise and proven people‑management skills
. This position will oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, controls, and the accounting team.

Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and month‑end/year‑end close
.

Prepare and analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, budgets, and financial reports
.

Monitor cash flow, expenses, collections, and financial performance
.

Work with billing teams to reconcile insurance and patient receivables, payments, and adjustments
.

Establish and maintain strong financial controls and accounting procedures
.

Manage, train, and supervise accounting staff with clear KPIs and accountability
.

Coordinate with CPAs, auditors, banks, and tax professionals
.

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
.

Proven experience managing an accounting team
.

Advanced Excel and accounting software skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.

Healthcare or medical laboratory accounting experience preferred.

CPA/CMA preferred but not required.
