Senior Staff Accountant

We're partnering with a growing CPA firm seeking a Staff or Senior Accountant to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their experience across tax, accounting, and advisory work while working directly with privately held businesses and individual clients.

• Prepare individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns
• Assist with more complex tax returns and review responsibilities based on experience level
• Prepare financial statements and supporting work papers
• Support tax planning and advisory engagements
• Assist business clients with accounting and financial reporting needs
• Analyze financial information and identify potential planning opportunities
• Work closely with managers and partners on client engagements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Assist with process improvements and technology initiatives
• Stay current on relevant tax and accounting developments

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred
• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
• General accounting and financial statement experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred, but not required
• Interest in developing broader tax planning, advisory, and client relationship skills
