Overview
The Assistant Community Manager supports the daily operations of the property management department, working closely with the assigned Property Manager. This role is centered on assisting the Property Manager in every aspect of managing the client’s property. Successful candidates are enthusiastic team players with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Our team regularly engages in continuing education for ongoing professional and personal development.
Applicants should take great pride in their work and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and creativity.
Monday–Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm (the schedule may slightly vary depending on client requirements).
Key Responsibilities- Phone skills and excellent customer service are imperative. Record phone calls in the phone log.
- Process rental, purchase, and stock transfer applications
- Oversee scheduling and vendor calls
- Compose letters, memos, reports, manage contracts, and related paperwork
- Database Management
- Manage day-to-day office needs
- Customer Service (Meticulous follow-up by email, mail, phone)
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain tenant records, leases, and contact information using online property management software.
- Research and develop new systems that will benefit executive
- Communicate work orders with maintenance to ensure prompt completion of tasks
- Attend evening board meetings
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred but not mandatory).
- Valid NJ Driver's License.
- Strong financial knowledge, with expertise in reading, understanding, and creating spreadsheets, flow charts, and graphs.
- Experience in contract negotiation and facility management.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of communities/property/real estate and homeowners associations (preferred).
- Commitment to continuing education.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
$27 - $29/hour
