Position OverviewProject Manager – Tier 2 Hospitality Events and Trade Shows (Basking Ridge, NJ, USA)
Manage Tier 2 hospitality events and trade shows, working closely with the Wireless Business Group (WBG) Events Manager, Sales, Marketing, and external partners to secure customers, coordinate event details, and support revenue growth.
Responsibilities- Project manage Tier 2 hospitality events and trade shows.
- Develop written communications and occasionally present to sales teams about event opportunities that aid revenue growth.
- Collaborate with WBG Sales, Managing Partners, and Client Partners to secure customers for events such as NFL, MLB, Indy Car, and others in compliance with company guidelines.
- Provide weekly reporting to leadership.
- Order customer/host tickets and manage associated logistics.
- Create briefing packages for hosts.
- Assist with ROI analysis of events.
- Coordinate with WBG Events Manager to execute Tier 2 events on behalf of sponsoring sales teams.
- Schedule meetings and participate with Sales, Marketing, and external partners to determine event requirements.
- Ensure correct signage, marketing materials, giveaways, etc., are available for events.
- Provide instructions for capturing leads and following up on all leads so they can be handed off to for tracking.
- Perform administrative tasks related to events and hospitality.
- Prepare spreadsheets for RFP review.
- Look up RFP activity in Salesforce and follow up with contacts.
- Check previous event attendance using tracking spreadsheets and update SharePoint documents to show status.
- Modify invite templates.
- Order event tickets through Spotlight database for each game/event.
- Communicate with sales teams on nomination status.
- Communicate with the Customer Engagement Manager on a regular basis to provide updates.
- Handle confidential materials with minimal supervision.
- Perform other generic office activities as needed.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1–2 years of administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong interpersonal and work‑ethic skills.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and time‑management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Understanding of the details involved in managing events.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage event logistics.
