Senior Banking Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Banking Consulting Lead to drive strategic consulting engagements across Retail Banking, Business Banking, and Payments. The ideal candidate will combine deep banking domain expertise with strong consulting, solution development, and client relationship management skills. This individual will work closely with clients to define transformation roadmaps, lead solution development, oversee delivery, and support business growth.

• Lead consulting engagements for clients across Retail Banking, Business Banking, and Payments.
• Partner with clients to understand business challenges and develop innovative, technology-enabled solutions.

Build and execute strategic roadmaps focused on business transformation and operational excellence.

Provide thought leadership on banking trends, digital transformation, customer experience, and data-driven decision making.

Lead solution development and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and client satisfaction are achieved.

• Develop trusted client relationships and identify opportunities to expand engagements.
• Support business development activities, including proposal development, solution presentations, and client workshops.
• Mentor consulting teams and contribute to capability building within the practice.

• 12+ years of consulting or industry experience within Banking and Financial Services.
• Strong expertise in one or more of the following:
• Retail Banking
• Business Banking
• Payments (preferred)
• Banking Product Development
• Data & Analytics
• Customer Insights
• Exposure to Operations Transformation is a plus.
• Experience leading end-to-end consulting engagements from strategy through execution.
• Demonstrated ability to develop solution roadmaps and manage executive-level client relationships.
• Experience overseeing multiple project deliveries while ensuring quality and business outcomes.

• Deep understanding of banking products, customer journeys, and industry trends.
• Strong consulting and problem-solving skills.
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to translate business needs into actionable strategies.
• Executive stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Experience driving innovation and thought leadership initiatives.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced consulting environment.

• Experience with digital banking transformation programs.
• Familiarity with data analytics and customer experience platforms.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Experience working with leading consulting firms or large financial institutions.
