We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Construction Management Professional to lead and oversee construction activities on various projects. In this role, you will:

• Plan and manage small to medium-sized construction projects and potentially larger multi-contract endeavors.
• Direct daily activities of construction representatives and coordinators.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of project contract documents to effectively coordinate activities related to critical path method (CPM), scheduling, and claims administration.
• Interpret project plans and specifications to assist clients, contractors, and field personnel.
• Identify and communicate potential project deficiencies and associated risks, including cost overruns and materials issues.
• Prepare related reports, such as monthly progress updates, and maintain detailed daily records of construction activities.
• Guide shop drawing professionals in developing project-related shop drawings and coordinate their dissemination to stakeholders.
• Provide internal consultation to construction teams and serve as a technical resource across other functional groups.
• Review and interpret government or funding agency regulations, ensuring compliance and offering consultative services.
• Perform additional duties as required.

New Jersey - Edison

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 4 years of related experience; equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as needed based on project demands.

• In-depth knowledge of construction management processes and methodologies.
• Familiarity with construction products, regulations, and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Excellent time management and project management skills.
• Adept at analyzing, problem-solving, and risk mitigation.

Pay Range Minimum: $100,194

Pay Range Maximum: $175,365

All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may vary based on the specific position.
