Location: 234 Pierson Ave, Edison, NJ
Duration:24 Months

• Reporting to a project site in the morning (field work)--Service territory Bergen county to Trenton/PA area.
• Relevant experience in safety industry or large construction projects must -- experience within buildings, facilities, construction, electrical, etc.
• Must have car and valid driver's license

This position involves providing safety oversight on construction and modification projects. The role requires a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental, and/or Emergency Management or equivalent experience in electric and/or gas utility construction
• Relevant experience in the safety industry or large construction projects, particularly in buildings, facilities, construction, electrical, etc.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for commuting to and from job sites
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather and environmental conditions
• Prior work experience at client or in the client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

• BCSP CHST, USOLN CUSP, or similar professional safety certification
• CPR/First Aid trained
• Proficiency in technological devices including Windows applications, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer

• Provide safety oversight on specific projects
• Develop and maintain a culture where safety is the top priority
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations and requirements
• Assist in the implementation of new safety requirements and procedures
• Conduct documented job site observations and make on-the-spot corrections
• Lead or participate in safety-related task forces and meetings
