Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Service Coordinator to support one of our largest energy services clients. This person will ensure customer expectations and commitments are met through effective communication with their customers, providing support and information, and prioritizing service calls and direct coordination with their field employees. As the main point of contact for all service customers, this role ensures customer expectations are met by proactively following up after service visits.
It involves handling decisions regarding the scheduling and movement of manpower and materials, as well as scheduling and dispatching the field labor force to meet customer needs based on the nature of the call, whether it be an emergency, preventive maintenance, available resources, or specific customer requirements. Additionally, the role supports material procurement for customer part sales, including pricing, processing orders, and invoicing, as well as internal requests in support of service projects.
Effective utilization of service software is crucial for managing service activities, such as opening service calls, scheduling planned preventive maintenance visits, updating customer information, and creating purchase orders. Above all, delivering outstanding customer service is a key aspect of this position.
