Role SummarySeeking a Packaging Designer specializing in fragrance to own the visual translation of fragrance concepts and olfactive trends into compelling bottle decoration and secondary packaging. This role balances brand storytelling with manufacturability, cost, sustainability, and global compliance.
Core Responsibilities Trend & Concept Development- Research seasonal design trends and translate them into visual directions, concepts, and packaging ideas.
- Create artwork for packaging components using both standard and custom structures.
- Define finishes, treatments, and material options in alignment with brand strategy and production capabilities.
- Design cartons, sleeves, inserts, and other outer packaging elements that support the overall product and brand system.
- Develop production-ready dielines and specifications, including special finishes and print enhancements.
- Produce digital mockups, renderings, and visual assets for presentations, internal reviews, and e-commerce.
- Collaborate with teams and suppliers to ensure accurate sampling and material representation.
- Prepare mechanicals and production-ready files including layers, color separations, and finishing plates.
- Partner with suppliers, production teams, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure feasibility, execution quality, and timelines.
- Maintain organized spec sheets, release files, and supporting documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience with 3D or packaging tools (e.g., ESKO, Key Shot, Blender, or similar) preferred.
- Understanding of production processes, substrates, and printing methods.
- Strong typography, layout, and visual systems skills.
