Interior Designer

Freeman French Freeman seeks an entry‑level Interior Designer with an interest in commercial interiors to join our team in Burlington, Vermont.

• Contribute to conceptual designs, space planning, finish selections, and construction documents
• Prepare design presentations including concept boards, renderings, and finish boards
• Collaborate with project team members and consultants
• Participate in client meetings and produce meeting minutes
• Participate in the programming process and write reports
• Maintain and update material sample library

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in interior design or a related field; other education or experience may be considered based on demonstrated capabilities
• 0–3 years of professional design experience
• Familiarity with Revit is preferred
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or related software for visualization and presentations is preferred
• Interest in a sustainable approach to interior design
• Excellent communication skills required; ability to think and act proactively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and structure time to meet deadlines

Anticipated salary range: $50,000 to $65,000, plus benefits.
