Overview
Team Health is seeking a dedicated OB/Gyn physician to join our OB/Gyn hospitalist and outpatient clinic team at Hackensack Meridian Health JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. This role includes 24-hour, in-house OB/Gyn hospitalist shifts, along with occasional daytime full scope OB/GYN services in JFK's Family Medicine Residency clinic. Prenatal patients seen in the clinic will be transitioned to the OB/Gyn hospitalist team at JFK Medical Center for all inpatient care.
Responsibilities- Provide 24-hour, in-house OB/Gyn hospitalist coverage.
- Deliver occasional daytime full-scope OB/GYN services in JFK s Family Medicine Residency clinic.
- Transition prenatal clinic patients to the OB/Gyn hospitalist team for inpatient care.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and support certified nurse midwives and family medicine residents in the outpatient setting.
- Manage gynecologic surgical cases originating from the clinic as part of the OB/Gyn hospitalist team.
- Provide emergency department coverage and inpatient GYN consultations.
- Board-certified OB/Gyn physician with current, active skills across the full spectrum of OB/Gyn care.
- Willingness to teach and mentor medical students and family medicine residents.
Competitive compensation is an estimated base salary range of $276,480 to $368,640 annually.
